National Set Medics® Life Saver Award

Honoring extraordinary acts of courage, professionalism, and lifesaving intervention.

The National Set Medics® Life Saver Award recognizes exceptional acts of courage, professionalism, and lifesaving intervention by medical professionals serving on productions and at events nationwide.

Every day, our medics provide services that protect the human condition. Many respond to emergencies, deliver lifesaving care, and make critical decisions under pressure. Countless stories of rescue happen behind the scenes, often without recognition or public acknowledgment.

The Life Saver Award was established to honor those extraordinary moments when a medic's training, quick thinking, and decisive action make a profound difference in another person's life.

Recipients exemplify the highest standards of emergency medical care, demonstrating the importance of preparedness, clinical skill, composure, and the willingness to act when seconds matter most.

At National Set Medics, "When Minutes Count, We're Only Seconds Away™" is more than a slogan. It is our mission statement and the standard we continually strive to uphold.

The Life Saver Award celebrates the professionals who bring that mission to life — medics whose actions remind us why our work matters and how one person, prepared to respond, can change the course of another person's life.

Reality Medic™ — Naked and Afraid, Guyana

In recognition of extraordinary courage and lifesaving actions while serving as a Reality Medic™ on Naked and Afraid in Guyana in 2018. When an 11-year-old boy from a nearby village was brought to her near death from a venomous snakebite, bleeding from his gums and eyes, Beth immediately administered advanced emergency medications and coordinated a lifesaving medical evacuation flight to Brazil. Before leaving Guyana, Beth was reunited with the boy, who was alive and well.

Recognizing those who make a difference when it matters most.
